Personal Insolvency Consultant Job in Brisbane
About the Insolvency Consultant Role
The primary purpose of the role is to be the initial point of contact for our potential clients. Following a detailed consultancy with the caller, you will present DCS Group’s range of debt solutions and help them choose the most appropriate one, based on their own circumstances.
There is no cold-calling. All leads come from individuals who have visited our website and have requested further information. Follow-up after the initial consultation is done by our customer service team. This allows you to do what you do best – which is to build relationships, provide exemplary service and achieve consistent results.
Base salary of $52,762 pa plus superannuation is on offer and performance incentives are calculated and paid weekly to reward your efforts.
An extensive induction program will be provided. During this initial 2-3 months, your core hours will be 8.30am to 5.00pm each weekday. On completion of your training, there will be several shift rosters working between 7.30am to 7.00pm each weekday. You are also to be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts (10am to 3pm), about 1 in every 5 weekends.
You must have a strong work ethic and love working toward KPIs. Empathy, enthusiasm and the ability to build trust and relationships are all a must. Other skills and experience required are:
- Previous experience in sales or retention roles
- Well-developed communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work under pressure, while retaining a fantastic attention to detail
- Being able to pick things up quickly and to simplify what can be considered complex information
- High levels of proficiency with computers and database management
Prior work experience in a contact centre environment will be very highly regarded. Criminal history and personal insolvency checks are completed for all our employees.

Criminal history and financial integrity checks will also be completed for the successful candidate.
